How does the service offered by Admit an Attraction work?
Members of Admit an Attraction distribute Attraction Tickets to people they meet briefly in public then screen potential dates on our website. Attraction Tickets are like business cards for dating. However, Attraction Tickets contain no personal information. They are printed with an Access Code that allows the Responder to view the Member’s profile online, create a profile and send a message. The ultimate goal of our company is to provide a service that makes being single fun. Members can give out Attraction Tickets anywhere, to anyone, because the people they show an interest in need not be members themselves.
How is Admit an Attraction different from online dating?
With Admit an Attraction, physical chemistry is established first, not last. You’re free to give out as many Attraction Tickets as you like, without divulging your personal information. Which means you’ll have more dates, with people you’re actually attracted to!
What’s the best way to use Attraction Tickets?
Start a casual conversation with someone and use an Attraction Ticket to “close” it. You'll be amazed at how comfortable you become talking to people you find attractive simply because you possess a safe, effective way to reconnect.
At the end of the conversation reach into your pocket or purse for an Attraction Ticket. You may want to ”pre-tear” the Responder portion from a single Attraction Ticket; sometimes you only have a moment to make your move.
Keep an Air of Mystery Hand an Attraction Ticket to someone you haven't spoken to. You’ve just spent the last few minutes enjoying that palpable surge of physical attraction, and chances are they’ve been feeling it, too. Most of us are flattered to receive an Attraction Ticket.
Admit an Attraction is a true dating revolution Attraction Tickets are breaking down barriers between strangers. You can now connect to anyone, anywhere.
IMPORTANT: The phrase “Admit an Attraction” means you’re admitting you’re attracted to somebody. Use lines like “Nice talking to you” or “See you later” when you hand over an Attraction Ticket. They’re looking at what you've given them…and you're outta there.
Why do I need Attraction Tickets?
People ask: "Where do I meet people to date?"
They should ask: “How do I meet people to date?"
Most people spend time educating themselves and advancing their careers. They also love to socialize … at bars, parties, concerts … with stylish, sexy people.
But when it comes to meeting potential dates, problems arise:
+ They don't want to be rejected by someone already in a relationship
+ They don't want to be rejected by someone who is not attracted to them
+ Moving from “Hi” to “Let’s exchange phone numbers” does not happen quickly
+ Scrounging for a pen and paper, match pack or napkin is ridiculous
+ You don't want to give a business card to people you barely know
+ It isn’t appropriate for potential dates to call you at work
+ You don't want to give your phone number to people you don’t know
+ People who don’t know each other aren’t comfortable on the phone
+ Giving someone an email address is not always taken seriously
+ Giving someone an email address revisits the pen/paper/napkin problem
What is so totally frustrating is that people with the physical qualities you initially look for in a date are everywhere: At work, at school, on the bus or subway, at a coffee shop, in bars, at the laundromat, grocery store, shopping mall, in a park, at the beach…everywhere. See Tips for use
Chemistry … it’s not just a class you failed in high school
Everyone knows that incredible feeling of chemical attraction. And most people would prefer wild passion to just getting along great. Don’t you want both?
Now you can have both. Give Attraction Tickets to anyone you find attractive, then screen your Responders for personalities that mesh with yours. You may like being single so much you’ll never want to stop dating!
Society has failed singles …
Society tells us “work” and “bars” are inappropriate places to meet people to date. Where else does someone go after college? You need Attraction Tickets.
Ever notice how technological advancements like cell phones only serve to further alienate us? Use technology as a tool, not a solution. You need Attraction Tickets.
Have you ever been attracted to someone and thought, “What a drag. I’ll never get to date that person.” You need Attraction Tickets.
Do you get totally freaked out when you and a partner break up because you hate being single? Do you feel lonely, desperate and bitter as a single person in today’s world? You need Attraction Tickets.
Have you wasted time with online personals; chatting, messaging and arranging to meet people, only to discover you’re not attracted to them in the least? You need Attraction Tickets.
People marry their high school sweethearts yet there are millions of people to choose from. You need Attraction Tickets.
People fly to other cities to appear on daytime talk shows to reveal a crush. You need Attraction Tickets.
Are you waiting for the office Christmas party to make your big move? You need Attraction Tickets.
How do I get started?
To use the service offered by Admit an Attraction, Sign Up and create a profile. Register your Attraction Tickets to your profile and you’re ready to get out there!
I don't have any Attraction Tickets. How do I get them?
Attraction Tickets are purchased in packs of twelve through our SSL encrypted server using a major credit card (Interac coming soon!). They are delivered via letter mail from our order fulfillment house, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Attraction Tickets will be available in select retail stores in the future. Be sure to order Attraction Tickets ahead of time so you don't run out. Ask us to send a reminder email when you Sign Up.
I just received my Attraction Tickets! How do I register them to my profile?
Log in and go to Manage My Tickets. Enter the pack serial code found on your mailer. All twelve Attraction Tickets are now registered and ready to use.
How do I register "free trial" Attraction Tickets?
Our street teams give out free trial Attraction Tickets at events, in nightclub districts and at colleges and universities. To register your tickets, log in (Sign Up if you haven't already) and go to Manage My Tickets. To register a FREE STARTER PACK (postcard-size with three attraction tickets imbedded in it) enter the Pack Serial Code found on the back of the postcard. This registers all three attraction tickets. If you have been given single Attraction Tickets, enter the Member access code only from each ticket. This code is found on the portion of the Attraction Ticket that you keep. (Look for the word DETAILS)
Why are there two different access codes on each Attraction Ticket?
The system uses one access code to identify the “Member” and the other to identify the “Responder.” Also, access codes must be randomly generated to prevent a breach of security (i.e. no one can predict the codes or use them multiple times)
If I'm the Member, who are my Responders?
Responders are people you’re attracted to. You meet them briefly in public, they’re your “type”, and you’d like to get to know them better. Wrap up the encounter by giving them an Attraction Ticket -- a no-pressure invitation to exchange profiles and messages on the Admit an Attraction website. When you’re ready, you can move on to exchanging phone numbers and going out on a date. Or not!
Why are there two portions to each Attraction Ticket?
This allows Members to use our unique Details Feature, designed to more easily remember each Responder.
How does the Details feature work?
Members can jot down details on the portion they keep. Some examples of details that will help you better remember your Responders are:
-
the location you gave the ticket out
-
the Responder's name
-
what they looked like
-
what they were wearing
-
the topic of conversation
You can then save these details to your Member Homepage, so you'll know right away who is sending you a message. You can also save details to set aside a number of tickets for a specific event. Those Responders will be among the people you gave Attraction Tickets to at a particluar concert, party, etc.
What if I decide not to use the Details feature?
Simply discard the Member portions of your Attraction Tickets. Keep only the Responder portions, and give them out to people you’d like to date.
How do access codes connect the Member with the Responder?
Responders key in the access code on the website homepage to gain access to the Member’s profile. Responders can create a profile to share with the Member, and both parties can message one another.
Can I use a friend's Attraction Tickets to try the service?
Attraction Tickets are fully transferable! Just sign up, create your own profile, then go to Manage My Tickets and register each Member access code. The Attraction Tickets are no longer registered to your friend’s profile, but are yours to use. Enjoy!
Is my profile "searchable" by people surfing the Internet?
None of the profiles on Admit an Attraction are available for browsing or searching. Your profile can only be viewed by your Responders, in other words, by the people you give Attraction Tickets to.
Tips for use:
At bars
Scope out the people you find attractive, then make your rounds. It's easiest if you have a reason for swooping in next to someone. You walk up to the bar for a drink. Perhaps you pause to watch a pool game in progress. Feeling bold? Drop one right in front of someone at another table … and keep moving! Place one under your Attraction’s beverage when they step away. They’ll have no idea who’s interested until they log onto the site. Hit the dance floor frequently--a great place to give out “anonymous” Attraction Tickets. Words are so unnecessary!
IMPORTANT: Attraction Tickets give new meaning to the term bar-hopping. Make sure you and your friends spend no more than an hour at each club. See who can give out the most Attraction Tickets in one evening -- and who gets more dates the following week!
At concerts
You already have a great big something in common … the stadium is filled with potential dates who love your favourite band! Why not take advantage of that ultra-close contact with your neighbours? Scan for cuties and head down their aisle. Lock eyes when you come face-to-face, press an Attraction Ticket into their hand, groove back to your seat and enjoy the concert.
There’s never been a better reason to roam a concert looking for hotties. “Is this the line up for beer?” “Do you know where the washroom is?” “Have they played (insert favourite song here) yet?” “Wasn’t the opening band awesome?” All great “starters” you can “close” with an Attraction Ticket. Note: For all-day concerts bring lots and lots of Attraction Tickets. Oh, and water.
At parties
Parties are great for giving out Attraction Tickets. Many rooms to drift in and out of, and everyone’s up for a casual conversation. Go ahead and do your stuff!
Try for the ‘double’ or ‘triple’: You've been giving out Attraction Tickets and decide to take a break on the couch. One of your potential Responders is showing off the Attraction Ticket to friends. The friends admit that they too received an Attraction Ticket from you. And aren’t you talking to someone new on the couch! Cheers!
At work
Still waiting for the office Christmas party to make your big move? Don't. There are plenty of discrete ways to distribute Attraction Tickets at the typical place of business.
Does the co-worker-of-your-dreams have a mailbox? Slip an Attraction Ticket into that Penske file you jointly work on. Alleviate elevator tension by passing a person an Attraction Ticket. That novel they can't put down is sitting on their desk … so give them a new bookmark! You won’t soon be forgotten.
At school
School is the perfect place to give out plenty of Attraction Tickets, and ensure you’re never stuck doing homework on a Saturday night. Every student has a locker, and every locker has slots. Designed for air circulation, they’re perfect for Attraction Ticket distribution.
The school library is great for giving out Attraction Tickets; bookshelves conceal your motives and there are lots of your co-eds sitting quietly. A sweet smile accompanies this delivery method best.
At the mall
Malls are terrific for finding people with common interests. Do you live for the latest sneakers? Hang out in the sports department. Are you crazy about cats and dogs? Check out pet stores. Are you a music enthusiast? Make a date in the ‘indie rock’ section. Women: Hit the do-it-yourself aisle. Guys: You know where they are: shoes, make-up, accessories, hand-bags, jewellery… the list goes on.
In my neighbourhood
We all love to try that new coffee shop. And we’ve all seen potential dates doing the same! Bring magazines, bring a book. Spend some time. Sit on the patio. Talk about the weather, the news, anything neighbourhood-oriented.
Grocery stores are ideal. Occasionally we come across someone just like us, picking up a few supplies. It’s too easy! Count on cart or basket contents to give clues as to relationship status. Talk them up then give one up, or simply hand one over and keep shopping.
On public transit
An easy and effective way to give out lots of Attraction Tickets in a very short period of time is on public transit. One woman told us she boards different subway cars on her way to work looking for a fresh crop.
You might wish to “fake out” your stop. Example: You're on a bus heading home and spot a potential. You don't know if their stop is the next one, do you? So make your stop the next stop. Sway nearby as you ring the bell, pass them an Attraction Ticket and smile. So you walk an extra block or two. It's good exercise… and you may have connected with a great date!
On vacation
Do you love to travel? Get jazzed about making new friends all over the world? Admit an Attraction lets you make a connection that matures over time, until you touch down in their hometown again. A great reason to catch a flight across the country to meet your Internet buddy: you already know they’re your type!
Your company decides to transfer you to a new city. Up until now you make the trip from time to time, but it sure would be nice to have a few dates lined up when you make your big entrance. So start handing out Attraction Tickets well in advance of your transfer.
At the beach
Wait for the moment your Attraction jumps up for cool-down dip or passes out cold to intensify their tan. Either scenario spells opportunity… just drop the Attraction Ticket on the corner of their towel. When they frantically scan the beach for their admirer, feel free to smile. But stick to your guns, let them look you up on the site for a date. You’ll get to know each other better, and you’ll know they're serious about meeting you.
Pocket or purse?
Most Members agree on the preferred method for giving out Attraction Tickets quickly and easily. Always keep one Responder portion (of a single Attraction Ticket) in your pocket or purse.
Now here's a handy way to hold a number of Attraction Tickets together: Separate all your tickets from the mailer (and one another), leaving both portions intact. Make two piles of six from a pack of twelve. Staple each pile together through the word DETAILS. This makes it easy to tear off a single Responder portion, plus keeps all the juicy info about your Responders in one place!
