  • Privacy is extremely important to Admit an Attraction, Inc. (sometimes referred to herein as "Admit" or "us" or "we") and we believe in an individual's rights to privacy and that personal information is not a commodity and should not be treated as one. This Policy Statement has been prepared to affirm our commitment to maintaining the privacy of our Customers and visitors to the Site and to inform you of our practices concerning the collection, use and disclosure of information provided to us.
  • By visiting this Site or if you provide us with any personal information electronically, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the personal information collected online as described herin. We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions herein at any time, and these modifications will be effective when the modifications are posted on this Site. You agree to review this Privacy Policy periodically to be aware of these modifications, and your continued use of the Site following the posting of any modified terms will be deemed to be your conclusive acceptance of the modified Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any modifications posted by us, you must immediately discontinue using our Site.
  • Admit an Attraction collects only such information from individuals or organizations as is required for the purposes of providing our services to them. When you register for any Admit service, you will be asked for (a) personal information (b) general demographic information such as city of residence or age, (c) non-identifying information to complete your profile such as height, body type, race etc. and (d) if you decide to buy attraction tickets, financial information such as name, credit card number and expiry date. We only use (a) and (d) in the course of providing our service to you. We do not share your personally identifiable information with other members or users. We may share some of the information we collect for our own research purposes with our professional advisers or consultants and third party partners; however, this information will only be shared under cover of a confidentiality agreement. We may disclose the information we collect from you if, in our opinion, we are required to do so by law which includes but is not limited to: a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process. We do not sell, trade, barter or exchange any information obtained, including and especially any information obtained from our clients. Admit an Attraction does collect e-mail and mailing addresses when users subscribe to a publication offered by it. Admit uses information collected through such subscriptions to send users the publication they have requested, and to send additional information relating to relevant subject matters. You are able to subscribe and un-subscribe to such subscriptions. Admit an Attraction follows the 10 principles of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Act ("PIPEDA");namely:
    1. Accountability: Admit is responsible for personal information under its control and shall designate an individual or individuals who are accountable for the organization's compliance with the following principles. That individual is: Privacy Officer found at: privacyofficer@AdmitanAttraction.com or by mail to: Privacy Officer Admit an Attraction Inc. 50 Cosburn Ave. Suite 1203 Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M4K 2G5.
    2. Identifying Purposes: The purposes for which personal information is collected shall be identified by Admit at or before the time the information is collected.
    3. Consent: The knowledge and consent of the individual are required for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information, except when inappropriate.
    4. Limiting Collection: The collection of personal information shall be limited to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by Admit. Information shall be collected by fair and lawful means.
    5. Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention: Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required by the law. Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary for fulfilment of those purposes. Credit Card information is removed when the transaction is complete. Name and address information is retained for two months after mailing of Attraction Tickets. Admit retains non personal information for statistical purposes. Admit retains certain information as required by relevant law.
    6. Accuracy: Personal information shall be as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.
    7. Safeguards: Personal information shall be protected by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Admit protects all personal information, regardless of format, against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, or modification. More sensitive information will be safeguarded by a higher level of protection. The method of protection will include organizational measures, physical measure and technical measures. All data including images are stored on an SQL Server database for maximum security. Admit will take care in the disposal or destruction of personal information.
    8. Openness: Admit makes readily available to individuals specific information about its policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.
    9. Individual Access: Upon request to the Privacy Officer, an individual shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of his or her personal information and shall be given access to that information. An individual shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate.
    10. Challenging Compliance: An individual shall be able to address a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles to Admit's Privacy Officer.
    Exceptions:
    Some groups, such as law enforcement agencies and journalists, have a lawful or investigative need to collect, use and disclose personal information without having to obtain the consent of the concerned individuals. For these reasons, certain exemptions are included:
    1. Personal information collected, used or disclosed solely for journalistic, artistic or literary purposes;
    2. if the action clearly benefits the individual or if obtaining permission could infringe on the information's accuracy;
    3. where such data can contribute to a legal investigation or aid in an emergency where people's lives and safety could be at stake; and
    4. if disclosure aids, in times of emergency, matters of legal investigation, or facilitates the conservation of historically important records.

  • By setting your browser preferences, you have the right to choose whether or not to accept cookies. We use "cookies" to track information to facilitate and enhance your online visits and if you permit their use, they will store small amounts of data on your computer about your visit to the site that placed the cookie. A cookie is a small text file. It is not a program, or a plug-in. Cookies are used in tracking which features you like the most thereby allowing content to be customized upon your return, according to prior preferences at that site and for remembering info for you like your passwords.
